Smitten Polish ~ Blue
Footed Booby Dance
Turquoise linear holo
It’s still winter and pitch dark here. I haven’t seen the sun for months. And
yet I find myself keep buying holos. I can’t help it – they are sooo beautiful.
And I can’t let them sit in a box for months, waiting for the sun to come back,
can I?
So yes, I must admit that it’s an obsession. I love holos – perhaps even
more than I love glitter! <Gasp>!!
Anyway, the turquoise blue holo is absolutely stunning in person. The
formula is good. I experienced some dragging when I applied the first coat, but
I had no problems at all when I applied the second. Drying time is really fast
too, so this polish is a winner for sure.
Let me show you what it looks like. All the pictures in this post,
except for the last one, are taken with flash.
Two coats, no topcoat:
The colour. The rainbows. The beauty!
Can you tell that I really, really like this? Well, I do!
I stamped on it, because I’m eager to try out more of my Moyou London
stamping plates. This time I used Princess Collection-14 and I stamped with
Kiko mirror collection #616 Silver.
I didn’t apply a topcoat just yet. Here’s my final mani:
Mmmmm… yes, that’s what I like!
I’m working a bit on my hand poses. This one is probably not a winner.
This last shot is taken in my lightbox without flash, to show you what
this polish looks like out of the sun. Pretty, right? I love it!
At first I must admit I found the name silly. But that was before I
actually knew what a Blue Footed Booby is. They are large birds living in the Galapagos Islands; reaching 70 - 90 cm in height and with
a wing span of up to 1.5 m. And when I show you a picture of them, you’ll
probably be able to tell why this polish is turquoise!
Is this polish still a winner? Yes it is. The colour is great, drying
time too, and the formula… I don’t have anything negative to say about this
beauty at all.
Did you know that a Blue Footed Booby was a bird? O.o
