Pretty Jelly ~ Floweret

Pretty Jelly ~ Floweret
Pink linear holo

I really liked the formula of Dream Cloud that I posted yesterday, and was eager to see if they’re all equally good.

The formula is good, and the polish is really easy to apply. It took two coats to make this look the best and the drying time between the coats is really good. The sun doesn’t want to shine on me at the moment, so my flash will have to do for today, sorry girls!

Here’s what two coats and no topcoat looks like in flashlight:

The crazy linear holo made my camera freak out a little, but look at those rainbows!!

The colour is actually described as a magenta linear holo that can lean purple. Interesting! It didn’t lean purple while I was wearing it – but perhaps it does in the sunshine, who knows :)

Here’s what Floweret looks like in my lightbox.

And here’s a picture taken in my kitchen without flash. The rainbows aren’t shy, that’s for sure!

I made three dots on each nail with Dream Cloud that I showed you yesterday, just because I felt like it. It’s pretty.

Verdict:
This is a great polish on many levels. I love the strong holo effect and the fact that this polish is also pretty in lower lights. It doesn’t have the dustiness in it like many other linear holos have. If you like pink holos, you should consider if Floweret should be included in your collection!

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Fast
Finish: Strong linear holo
Overall impression: This is a winner for sure. It looks great both in and out of the sun
Buy again: Yes

  1. Really nice holo effect, even without the bright lights!

  2. This has a better holo effect than the last one and is a much prettier colour. I think I prefer it :-)

  3. It's beautiful, but I too would call it a pink/rose, no where near a purple ;)
    Great swatches as usual!

    1. I was surprised to read that it was leaning purple. There's no way that mine leans purple in any way :D
