Ellagee ~ Bad Romance
Cherry red linear holo
This is the third Ellagee post in a row. I’ve shown you two Facebook
Customs, and today I’m going to show you the mother of the two: The cherry red
base colour all on its own.
It’s a jelly but it covers better than the two customs. I ended up with
three coats but maybe I would have been able to get away with two if I had used
thicker coats. Drying time is good.
Look how pretty two coats and no topcoat is taken with flash:
I love those rainbows.
Here’s a low light picture. It’s a little bit too dusty for me.
So I decided to try something new. I painted black polish on one of my
stampers and white on another. I let it dry, gave it a second coat and let that
dry too. Then I topcoated it, and when it was fully dry I lifted the two decals
off the stamper and cut them into little triangles. I applied a layer of
topcoat on my nails and lifted the little decals onto the nails with a dotting
tool.
I applied a second layer of topcoat, and my work was done:
The low light picture. I like it with black and white on it!
Number of coats: 3
Drying time: Good
Drying time: Good

Overall impression: Pretty
rainbows, but I’d love the colour to be more red
