Glittering Elements ~ Comet Dust

Multichrome flakes along with copper, aqua, purple and holographic shimmer

Comet Dust is a topper, but you can also use it on its own. I love toppers with shimmer and flakes, so I was eager to try this one out.

I chose to apply it over a purple. I used Dance Legend Matte #649 which is a deep purple with no shimmer. I wanted to let the topper do all the shimmering!

I applied a layer of Comet Dust over the purple, and when that was dry I also applied a layer of topcoat.

Let me show you how pretty this shimmer/flakie is. Here’s one coat over purple:

The shimmer is amazing!

I didn’t snap a picture of the two purple coats of Dance Legend before I applied the topper, but here is a picture of the polish bottles.

Verdict:

Yes, yes, yes! We need more shimmer/flakie toppers to spice up other polishes. This is a total winner for me!
