Dark purple with shimmer

Monki is a clothes chain that also sells a few accessories. Last time I went there, my sweet boyfriend decided to buy me a present. He chose four mini nail polishes, and today I’m going to show you the first one: Dark Purple.

It says “H&M” on the bottle, and H&M’s polishes are usually hit or miss for me. Dark Purple turned out to be a hit.

I used two coats and the drying time was good. No problems with applications whatsoever.

I decided to sponge a bit of glitter on the tips. I used a turquoise glitter with dashes of teal, and I used a rough sponge to get in onto my nails. The glitter I used is from Golden Rose’s Jolly Jewels collection and has number 107.

I have always seen that Golden Rose as sea green before, but the purple makes it show its bluer side, that’s really interesting.

Another funny thing is the name of the Monki polish. I mean “Dark Purple”? That’s not highly inventive, is it? :D
