Picture Polish ~ Obsession, Desire & Nemesis

Picture Polish came out with a collection called “Vampy Chameleons” recently. It was a collection of six polishes, and I bought three of them. Today I’m going to show you all three of them.

Let me start out with Obsession. It’s a deep red to purple duochrome. It looks absolutely fabulous in the bottle. The formula is good and easy to work with and it takes two coats to get rid of visible nail line. Drying time is good and it dries up super shiny. I like that.

This is colour accurate: It looks exactly like it did in real life.

I took a crazy sunshine picture. Look at how ridiculously pretty it is!

Verdict:
I love this much more than I thought I would! The colour shift isn’t as crazy as the bottle suggests but it’s there. It works for me. ♥

Next one up is Desire. It’s the same colours as Obsession, just with added scattered holo. The formula is even better, the polish just seemed to glide right on. Two coats again, good drying time. It doesn’t dry up quite as shiny as Obsession, but who cares. It’s super pretty!

Verdict:

This is my favourite of the bunch. The colour is amazing and the scattered holo makes it so much more than “just another duochrome”. Thumbs up from me!

The last one I got was Nemesis. Nemesis is a deep red to gold duochrome with added scattered holo effect. The Formula is really good, and I used two easy coats for my swatch here. Drying time is good.

I really like this colour, but I wish I could see more of the colour change. I can see it in the bottle, but not as much on my nails. Buy hey, I’m not usually into golden colours, so perhaps it’s because of the lack of gold effect on my nails that I love this so much?!

Here’s the crazy sunshine picture. It’s gorgeous in the sun!

Verdict:

I love this too! The colour is way more cool (way cooler?) on the nails than the bottle suggests and I love that. So this is a winner too!

Finish: Duochromes – two with scattered holo effect
Overall impression: Not the craziest duochromes on the market, but definitely some of the prettier ones. Well done!
