Glittering Elements ~ CE400

Glittering Elements ~ CE400
Deep magenta linear holo

Today I’m going to show you a prototype from Glittering Elements. I bought it in a grab bag, and was really pleased to unwrap this beauty.

The formula is amazing, no less. It covers in one flawless layer! I applied two out of habit, but honestly: The second layer did not make any difference. The drying time is good.

I was lucky to catch a last glimpse of the sun before it went down, so here’s two layers in the evening sun:

Here’s a flash picture taken in my light box, where the light is a bit more controlled :)

Here’s what it looks like in low lights. It almost turns purple, I like that!

I grabbed a striper I bought in Turkey. It’s from Golden Rose and has number 142. It’s just now that I realized that it’s friggin’ bar glitter!! Argh! :D That’s what happens when you shop in the darkness. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you should read this post; that explains it all.
Bar glitter must be a thing in Turkey right now, haha!

Anyway, here’s my final mani:

Ahh… It’s nice to be in colours within the comfort zone again!! :D

Number of coats: 2 – but 1 would have been enough
Drying time: Good
Finish: Linear holo
Overall impression: I like the colour, also in lower lights.
Buy again: Yes I would

  1. What a beauty - I would have liked a stronger holo, but still, it's pretty!

  2. Hehe, I have this striper and was surprised to discover bars in here too :D But it's OK striper, makes the stripes different with this kind of glitter. I like this purple one too.

  3. It's not a real strong holo I must say! Bit more delicate I suppose. Still like it!
