Glittering Elements ~ Peacock Princess

Glittering Elements ~ Peacock Princess
Peacock blue linear holo with pink shimmer

Today I’m going to show you the last of my three semi customs. Check the other two out here and here. Semi customs is where you chose what three colours you want, and then Casey makes three polishes that colour, but she choses the finishes. That means that you don’t know if you receive glitters, holos, shimmers, jellies or what.

Peacock Princess! Isn’t that just an amazing name! It’s blue. It’s holographic. It’s beautiful!

The formula is really good and the polish covers perfectly in one single coat. I applied a second one, but it didn’t make any difference at all, so it is a true one coater. Drying time is good, no worries in that department either.

Here’s two coats in the sun:

Here’s what it looks like taken with flash:

The low light picture shows a bit of the shimmer.

I stamped peacock patterns on two nails. I found the motifs on Moyou London’s stamping plate Tropical collection-06 and I stamped with Models Own’s Chrome Cerise from the recent Chrome collection. When that was dry I sponged glitter on the two other nails and a bit on the stamped motifs. The glitter I used is L. A. Girls “Nostalgic” from the Glitter Addict collection.

Here’s the final mani in the sun:

This low light picture show off the motifs better.

Here are the three polishes I used for my mani.

I love a good blue and this is really pretty. I like the polish a lot and I love the name!

If you’d like to try your own semi-customs, you can do it here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/GlitteringElements

I’ll definitely do this again. It’s awesome!

Number of coats: 2, but 1 is enough
Drying time: Fast
Finish: Scattered holo with flecks
Overall impression: Casey is great at blues (and purples). I really like this one.
Buy again: Yes

  4. Oh what a lovely blue. I really can't decide whether I like blue holos or purple ones better. I love them both.

    1. I am a bit indecisive too, but I think I actually buy more purples than blues :)
