LynBDesigns ~ From Night to Day & Pigment of the Imagination

LynBDesigns ~ From Night to Day & Pigment of the Imagination
A couple of swatches

This post is going to be really short, because I just want to show you a couple of LynBDesigns polishes I received in a swap recently.

The purple linear holo is called From Night to Day. The first coat is really sheer but it builds up and I got it opaque in two coats. Girls with longer nails may require three coats. Drying time is pretty average.
The pink with iridescent glitter is called Pigment of the Imagination. Again: First coat was really sheer, second coat did the job. I do believe that longer nails require three coats of this as well.

Here’s two coats of each, a vertical stripe on each nail with the opposite colour, and then a thick layer of topcoat:

I hardly ever fish for glitter, and I didn’t do it today either. I got one single piece of glitter on my nails. That’s not quite enough in my opinion. I also had to go over the stripes twice in order to make it just somewhat opaque.

I like the purple one the best of the two, what about you?

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Average
Finish: Linear holo & jelly with glitter
Overall impression: I like the rainbows in the purple, and was disappointed in the sparse glitter in the pink.
Buy again: Probably not

  2. The purple, for sure! I do fish for glitter; sometimes that's just how it works. Though this one doesn't look in the bottle like it should be a problem--fishing is usually needed just for large shapes.

    1. I think the problem with the glitter in this one is that there isn't enough added! :)

  4. Shame about the glitter. Usually I would pick the pink polish but the purple one has such a lovely holo effect :)

    1. It has! If the pink had the same holo effect it would be much better :)
