NailNation 3000 ~ Fantabulous (2015)

NailNation 3000 ~ Fantabulous
Fuchsia linear holo

I really like fuchsia polishes. Lets pronounce it together, shall we? FYOOOO shya! Not Fuh….errr, yeah, not that way ;) I like this one so much that actually bought this polish once before, a year ago. So now I have got two – but let me get back to that at the end of this post.

The formula is really good and the polish just glides on. Two coats is what it takes and the drying time is good too.

Here’s what two coats and no topcoat look like in the sun:

I must admit that I have completely fallen for this polish!

Here’s what it looks like in low lights.

I recently bought some water decals from AliExpress and some of them were Snoopy-decals. I absolutely adore Snoopy. It’s been a while since I used decals last, but how hard can that be, right?
Just for the record: The description didn’t help much. The first step states: “Influenza A dresser, color and dry on low”. And the parenthesis in the second step is hilarious: “Winter can be warm”. HAHAHA!!!

But anyway: The first one went really well: Into the water, wait for a bit, and up onto the nail. Easy peasy. The next one decided to be difficult. The third one too. And the next many ones as well, but finally I managed to get another one to work! So in the end I managed to get a Snoopy and a Woodstock on both hands, yay!

I made white stripes on my pinkie and yellow stripes on my pointer to match the two lovely characters. I didn’t photograph my thumb, but I made a white and a yellow line on it.

Here’s the low light picture.

Okay, back to the fact that I have now got two versions of Fantabulous. Here are the bottles:

It’s the new one to the left. The most obvious difference is stated on the bottles. The new one is 5-free and the old version is 3-free.
Here’s what they look like underneath:

Again: It’s the new one to the left, the old one to the right.

I swatched them next to each other on a nail wheel. The difference is obvious in real life, but not so obvious on the pictures I took. The left one is the new version, it’s a bit darker and more vibrant than the old one.

This half blurry bottle shot may give you an idea of what I am talking about. The new one on the left is darker, more magenta.

Here is the link to the post I wrote a little over a year ago: http://rainbowifyme.blogspot.dk/2014/02/nailnation-3000-fan-tabulous-marthe.html

Would you keep both of these if you were me?

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Fast
Finish: Linear holo
Overall impression: Wow! Just wow!
Buy again: Yes I would. In fact, I did, haha!!

    1. No, and I am not sure anyone would notice if I wore both polishes on different nails :) They're not that different.

    1. Thank you.
And yes, I couldn't capture the difference very well on camera, but it was pretty obvious in real life :)
