Powder Perfect ~ Bay of Alexandria

Powder Perfect ~ Bay of Alexandria
Teal/green microglitter

Bay of Alexandria is from the Egyptology Series Part one – The Lower Kingdom Collection from spring 2015. It’s a super sparkly teal and green mix of microglitter – I loved it from the moment I laid eyes on it!

The formula is perfect and easy to work with. I used two coats for this mani. The first coat dried really fast, the second coat to a bit longer. It dries up a little bit gritty and a topcoat definitely also brings the glitters to life.

This is two coats and no topcoat:

I love it! It’s also beautiful in low lights!

I stamped a wavy design on it. I used a motif from Moyou London’s stamping plate Sailor Collection-07 and I stamped with a lilac stamping polish from Moyou (not London!). I topcoated the whole thing to bring more life to the glitters and here’s the final result:

Here’s the mandatory low light picture.

I love microglitters and Bay of Alexandria is no exception. Wow.

Number of coats: 2

  1. That is a totally "you" polish, and it suits you well, and even the teal-disliking me like it LOL

  3. Hey dear! This nail art is just perfect. The glittery nail polish alone is nothing to the version with the decorations you've done. They really exalts it and the glitters inside :-)
