Celestial ~ Peacock Star

Celestial ~ Peacock Star
Dark blue to purple duochromatic shimmer with a dash of red microglitter

Peacock Star is a part of the trio “Starry, Starry Night In Singapore” made exclusively for Mei Mei’s Signatures. I have already shown you Fomalhaut here (LINK), and I didn’t buy the third one, Al Nair.

The formula is okay and the polish covers in two coats. Drying time is good.

Here’s what two coats and a layer of topcoat looks like:

See that red microglitter here and there? That wasn’t even visible in real life, haha!!
Here’s a low light picture. It shows that the duochromatic effect isn’t dramatic.

I dapped a teeny bit of Ellagee’s Hear me Roar onto my nails. It’s a magenta holo, and I love it! Then I applied a layer of OPI’s “Snowflakes in the Air” on top of it all, and finished it off with another layer of topcoat.

Here’s my final mani in the sun.

Here’s a low light picture. If you look carefully you might be able to see the Ellagee peak through :D

Peacock Star isn’t my favourite polish. It’s a bit too dark for me, and the duochromatic effect is too weak to make up for the darkness. So it goes.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Duochromatic shimmer with microglitter
Overall impression: I feel a little bit meh about this polish to be honest
Buy again: No
