LynBDesigns ~ Serious
Bettie
Cool toned green linear holo
Serious Bettie is from the “Art of the Tease" Collection.
The formula is quite sheer so it takes three coats to make me happy.
Fortunately the drying time is really good. The holo effect is quite subtle,
even in direct sunlight, but the colour is nice and easy on the eyes.
Here’s three coats and a thin layer of topcoat in direct sunshine:
The colour is also quite pleasant in lower lights.
I stamped on it. I found my motif on Moyou London’s stamping plate Pro
Collection-14 and I stamped with stamping polish number 06 from El Corazón,
it’s called mint, and that my friends, is exactly what it is.
I didn’t topcoat it before I took my pictures, but here’s my final mani:
The stamping did the trick for me, I like this.
Serious Bettie grew on me. In the beginning I thought it was quite
boring, both colour wise and rainbow wise, but I liked it more and more. I
still would have preferred it with some more serious rainbows!

It's a pretty green, but for me 3 coats in a dark shade like this is too much...

ReplyDeleteThank you so much, I'm glad to hear it :)
DeleteI do feel that one can never have too many men or too much money or too many rainbows. So on that basis I get why you probably wouldn't buy it again. Having said that the stamping lifts the whole Mani into the realm of gorgeousness! It's a great base colour for a really lovely Mani!
ReplyDeleteWhy oh why do you live on the other side of the world!? We could have so much fun hanging out! :)
DeleteThe stamping is wonderful on this green!
