Glam Polish ~ Warlock

Glam Polish ~ Warlock
Red leaning orange with glitter and holo effect

Warlock is from Cast a Spell Part II: The Magic is Back! collection from autumn 2014.
It looks rusty orange in the bottle, but reveals a more red side to it when it’s on the nails.

The formula is good, and so is coverage. It took two easy coats to achieve desired opacity and the drying time between the coats is good.

I had no sunshine, so here’s a picture taken in ordinary daylight:

Here’s an intentionally blurred picture to show off the holo goodness.

I considered making tiger stripes on it but I thought it was too obvious, and I like it when things aren’t too obvious. So I went with the infamous leopard spots instead. At some point I’m determined to get them just right!

I used a neon yellow from El Coraz贸n, #141-neon, and the black is just a regular black cr猫me. My topcoat played tricks with me today and pulled a bit on my design, grrr!

Here’s my final mani:

And one final shot:

Do you like my leopard spots? I think they are getting just a little bit better every time :D

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Holo with glitter
Overall impression: Great quality, nice effect, I only wish for a little less Autumn-ness :D
Buy again: Probably not

  4. I think it's a very pretty polish, not necessarily perfect for your skin tone (or mine) but lovely none the less. Your leapard spots however are totally improving! The best yet.

    1. It's weird that I fell for orange in the end, but hey, comfort zone movement and all that :) Thank you :)
