Color Club ~ Peace, Love and Polish

Color Club ~ Peace, Love and Polish
Neon pink with a coral undertone and golden shimmer

Peace, Love & Polish is from the Poptastic Neon Collection from summer 2014. It was the only polish I didn’t buy from that collection back then, both because of the golden shimmer but also because of the coral tone. I wasn’t a fan back then. My taste has evolved though and I actually see myself wearing coral colours. So first I bought Bell Bottom Babe, and then I bought Peace, Love & Polish and completed my Poptastic collection. Click this link to see the first four polishes in the collection.

Anyway, the formula of the polish is good and I used two easy coats for my mani. The drying time was good too.

This is what two coats and no topcoat looks like.

The shimmer is even more prominent in real life.

I topped it with Lacquester’s holo topcoat Holo Dek 14-35 just because I was in a holo kind of mood. Again.

That killed the shimmer but it’s still nice. Then I stamped on it. The plate I used is BP-13 and the polish I used for stamping is from Bourjois and is called “Bleu Mystérieux”. It’s not a stamping polish but it works really good for stamping.

This is the final mani including a layer of Moyra’s stamping topcoat.

Later that evening I topped it with another layer of Lacquester’s Holo Dek 14-35 but that was a mistake. It dulled the pink way too much for my likings. At that point it was too late to change the mani so I wore this for a day and a half before changing it.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
