Different Dimension ~ Boaty Call

Different Dimension ~ Boaty Call
Darkened seafoam strong linear holo

Boaty Call is from the Pretty Nauti collection from summer 2016. There are ten polishes in the collection and this is the only one I bought of them. It’s an amazing polish!

The formula is good, but I did experience a bit of dragging with the first coat. The second coat went on effortlessly and the drying time is really good. And wow, this polish is just beautiful and right up my alley.

Take a look on two coats and no topcoat taken with flash:

Those rainbows are fantastic. I love them!

This is what the polish looks like in ordinary daylight, on a very cloudy day. The rainbows are still shining!

I stamped on it. I used my new sticky stamper from Moyou London and the Moyra stamping plate 27-Dreamology. Moyra’s stamping plates have some really cool motifs, but I have had a bit of a problem picking up some of the finer patterns. I wanted to find out if Moyou London’s sticky stamper could do the job. A couple of girls I know have recommended it. It worked. The stamper picked up the pattern effortlessly!

Here’s my final mani, including a layer of Moyra’s stamping topcoat.

There are two things I need to get used to with the stamper:

-      It’s not clear, so I’m now back to guessing where the motifs end up
-      The remain of the polish didn’t come off easily. I use a lint roller to clean my stampers, and I had to dap the stamper onto the lint roller numerous times to clean it. Usually I only press the stamper against the roller once. It’s not a big deal, but I mention it for the record.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Strong linear holo
Overall impression: This is right up my alley. I love the colour, the rainbows and the quality of the polish
Buy again: Yes
