Cupcake Polish ~ Mr. Mint

Cupcake Polish ~ Mr. Mint
Hot pink jelly with holographic microglitters

Mr. Mint is from the Candyland collection from early Summer 2017. It’s a part of a six polish collection of which I bought three. I showed you Queen Frostine yesterday – click this link to see it if you missed that post. LINK

The formula is really good and so is the coverage. I used two easy coats for full opacity and the drying time was really good. It’s a really nice polish in all ways.

I placed a black star stud by the base of each nail, except for the ring finger. I placed a big skull on that. The stars are from a holiday in Hungary, the skull is from evilbay :D

Here’s my final mani taken with flash:

This picture is taken in ordinary daylight, no sun. The holo glitter still glistens! I’m wearing two thin layers of topcoat on the three fingers with the stars – to keep the stars in place :D

Here’s Mr. Mint alone taken with flash. It’s two coats and no topcoat.

Mr. Mint. Another polish with a name I don’t get! I would have expected that a polish called that would be mint green. I guess I’m not innovative enough, haha!

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Jelly with holo microglitter
Overall impression: Super pretty polish with a great quality
Buy again: Yes

  2. Crazy name for a stunning polish, wonder what the thought was behind it! I read the title first so I really expected a minty green manicure haha :) I love this though, the polish is beautiful and the nail art is wickedly badass and cute at the same time!

    1. Most of the names inthis collection seem a bit weird, but as long as the polish is pretty, I don't mind so much.
And thanks, I appreciate it! ❤️

  3. The polish is lovely and the nail art is very pretty but I do agree it's a very weird name for that color...
