CND Vinylux ~ Fern Flannel

CND Vinylux ~ Fern Flannel
Dark teal shimmer

I bought today’s polish in a shop that was about to shut down. I think I got it at about 70 % off, which made the price really good.

The formula is good and covers in two easy coats. The drying time is average.

I applied a layer of shimmer over the teal. I used Catrice’s “Ocean Drive” for that purpose. It’s a lovely blue to purple duochromatic shimmer in a clear base that works perfectly as a topcoat. It’s from a series of “Shake & Seal”-topcoats. The drying time is on the slow side.

On top of that I applied silvery nail stickers. I bought these from Aliexpress and they were cheap as chips.

I topped it all with a layer of ordinary topcoat and this is how it all turned out:

This is two coats of CND’s “Fern Flannel” topped with “Ocean Drive” from Catrice. Isn’t that just a lovely shimmer!

And here’s “Fern Flannel” on its own; two coats and no sorts of topcoat just yet.

This is the stuff I used today.

I love shimmer with shimmer on top. There cannot be too much shimmer!
