Sally Hansen ~ Kook A Mango

Sally Hansen ~ Kook A Mango
Coral red crème

I was in the mood for something bright so I went for “Kook A Mango” from Sally Hansen’s line of “Complete Salon Manicure”.

The formula is good. I applied two layers and the drying time was good. I was on the phone with a friend and wasn’t really able to go out and take my pictures before I continued to the next step. So while I talked, I applied a third layer of polish, just to be a little bit productive while talking :D The third coat wasn’t strictly necessary – two coats should do the trick.

I applied a layer of China Glaze’s “Fairy Dust”. My bottle is old and the polish takes a really long time to dry. It’s a really pretty topper though. I’ll try and use it up but will probably not buy a new bottle of it.

The stamp is from the stamping plate “XY-P16” and I stamped with a regular polish from Max Factor called “Burgundy Crush”.

Here’s my manicure photographed in the sun.

I love the result, it’s just what I was in the mood for!

Here’s 3 coats of “Kook A Mango” topped with “Fairy Dust” from China Glaze.

And here’s 3 coats of “Kook A Mango” all alone; no topcoat yet.

This is the stuff I used for today’s feel good-manicure.

Sally Hansen makes some really good polishes. Great colours too! I wonder if they ever have considered making some cool holographics? :D

Number of coats: 3 but 2 would have been enough
Drying time: Good
Finish: Crème
Overall impression: Happy colour with a great formula
Buy again: Yes
