Colors by Llarowe: Life Is A Highway

Colors by Llarowe: Life Is A Highway
Described as a "magenta pink jelly with scattered holo and magenta and purple iridescent micro glitter

Life is a Highway was released in April 2016 by Colorado-based indie polish maker Colors by Llarowe as part of the Tribute to a Wonderful Friend collection. Colors by Llarowe is a great brand and I was sad when the maker announced that she would stop making polish.

The formula is a jelly and I used three coats for my manicure. It almost covered in two coats but the third coat made a big difference both in depth and in colour, so three coats is optimal for this polish. The drying time was good.

I stamped a white and a purple star on each nail. The stars are from one of Essence's no name stamping plates. The stamping polishes are both from El Corazón.

Here's the final manicure including a layer of topcoat. The photo is taken in the sun.

Here's "Life Is A Highway" alone; three coats and no topcoat yet.

Here are the things I used today.

"Life Is A Highway" is a bleeder by the way. The white stars turned more and more pink as the days went.

Number of coats: 3
Drying time: Good
Finish: Jelly with holo and glitter
Overall impression: Pretty glitter, I like the sparkles

Buy again: I think I would
