Polish Addict ~ Chillin’ in Autumn

Polish Addict ~ Chillin’ in Autumn
light pink shimmer crelly with green, black, brown, orange, yellow, blue glitters in a variety shapes, finishes and sizes

Here’s the second Polish Addict polish in my little trilogy. This one is really light pink with a ton of different coloured glitters in it.

The formula is good for a crelly: The polish applies easily and covers well. Two coats is what it took to make this opaque. Drying time is average. The polish dries up a little bit gritty because of all the glitters, but personally, I don’t mind a little bit of bumpiness on my nails.

Here’s two coats plus a layer of topcoat:

I like that none of the glitters are huge!

I think this is a fun and festive glitter – it’s like there’s confetti on my nails.

It looks as if there are a teeny bit more reds and oranges than the rest of the colours.

So what I did was to choose an orange and a red polish from Sally Hansen Insta-Dri to stamp with: Orange Impulse and Rapid Red. I used a motif from a the Moyou London stamping plate Princess-13. I applied another layer of topcoat before I took these final pictures:

I am really liking the two-coloured stamp!

The polishes:

Verdict:
I was surprised that Chillin’ in Autumn only needed two coats for full opacity – I had expected at least three. I think the mix of glitter is fun and different from other polishes.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Average
Finish: Good covering crelly
Overall impression: When I first saw this polish I thought the base was white, so it was a surprise to find out that it’s actually baby pink. It suits the glitters perfectly!
Buy again: No, baby pink is not a colour I wear as a rule.
