Sweet Addictions Box, November 2014: Gemstones

I recently discovered the Sweet Additions Box – I actually discovered it in October. I wasn’t one of the lucky girls that got an October box before they sold out (damn!). I thought November’s box looked interesting too, so I ordered that instead. Let me show you what it contained.

The first one up is Emerald Aisle from Cupcake Polish. It’s a rich dark green linear holo, and it was inspired by the emerald (surprise!!).

Great formula, good coverage, good drying time. All good. Here’s two coats and no topcoat:

I love the colour and I adore the beautiful rainbows!

This colour is great for Christmas too!

It’s also pretty in lower lights, take a look:

Nice. Very nice!

The next polish up is Tina the Labradorite from Darling Diva. It’s a vibrant blue with pink, purple, blue, gold, and black flakies with a linear holographic finish. This polish was inspired by labradorite. A side note: I have never heard of Labradorite before, so I actually thought that Tina was a kind of Dog, or maybe someone from Labrador at first… hahaha!!

Anyway: The formula is good, coverage fine, drying time good. Here’s two coats, no topcoat:

I love this blue!

Here’s a picture showing off the rainbows.

In lower lights the flakies show themselves – and the colour of the polish is still looking nice.

Yes, that’s a nice polish.

The last polish in the box was the one that wowed me the most when I actually opened the box. It’s Saphir Rose by Different Dimension. It’s a lovely pink linear holo packed with lots of pink shimmers. It was inspired by the pink sapphire. It’s also my first Different Dimension, so I was curious about the quality of the polish.

And girls, the quality is perfect. Two easy and fast drying coats did the trick. Take a look at how pretty it is:

Rainbows! Rainbows!!

Here’s an intentional blurry picture, I keep staring at my nails!

Pretty in lower lights too!

Great. Just great!

Verdict:
This is my first Sweet Addictions Box and I like it! The polishes are all great, both colour wise and quality wise. I also like the fact that you actually get to see the polishes before you order. As I said, the October box sold out in a flash, but the November box is still available here. I’ll be sure to check out the December box as well!
Polished thumbs up from me! ♥
