Liquid Sky Lacquer ~ Emily’s Sky is always Blue

Liquid Sky Lacquer ~ Emily’s Sky is always Blue
Deep fluorescent blue with slight holo effect

Here’s a pretty blue from Liquid Sky Lacquer. I love the name too btw, “Emily’s Sky is always Blue”, it’s so pretty.

It’s a jelly and the formula is not that easy to work with – as in: It’s not a polish for beginners. It’s difficult to get it even, and the drying time isn’t fantastic either. It also took three coats to get rid of visible nail line.

But the polish is really pretty. Take a look at three coats and a layer of topcoat:

I managed to catch the subtle holo effect, yay!

The polish is almost prettier in low lights.

I made clouds on it! I dabbed a bit of silver holo here and there with a small bit of a kitchen sponge. I used Rival de Loop’s Lost in Space for that.

Here’s the final mani with flash:

And here it is in low lights.

I really really like this colour, but I must admit that I’m not crazy about the formula.

Number of coats: 3
Drying time: Relatively slow
Finish: Flourescent jelly with holo effect
Overall impression: Great colour, not impressed by the formula
Buy again: No

  4. So pretty! I was only able to snag a mini of this when ordering from the maker's site...never wore it, so didn't know the formula was like that, but well put to describe it as not for beginners...
