Flomar ~ Salmon Sashimi and Neo Love Story

Flomar ~ Salmon Sashimi and Neo Love Story
Orange crème & red crème in symphony

Sometimes my manis just don’t end up like I planned them to. Today is such a day! I was going to do a dry marble and had a tie-dye pattern in mind. I was going to paint my nails with an orange base colour – and this is the only step I actually succeeded with. Then I was going to make red, orange and white dots alternately on top of each other and eventually going to drag them out with a small brush in a tie-dye mani. That didn’t go well. I think the polish dried to fast because I was unable to drag anything into something that looked nice.

Instead I sponged red, orange and white onto my nails. I topped it with El Corazón’s holo flakie topper 421h/25. I stamped a floral design over it all. The stamping plate I used is from Lina and is called Make your Mark 01. I stamped with a plain black stamping polish from El Corazón called Black. Great name! :D

This is my final mani:

I must admit that I really like this, probably way more than I would have liked the tie-dye design. But never mind.

Here’s the sponge mani before the stamping:

I like that as well and wouldn’t have minded to wear that on its own.

Here are the polishes and the plate I used.

Flormar: Salmon Sashimi & Neo Love Story, W7: White, El Corazón: 421h/25 & Black

Like I said: It sometimes ends up differently than planned, and that is quite okay.

Number of coats: 2 (I only used one for my base, but 2 would have done it alone)
Drying time: Good
