Painted Polish
~ Counting Candles
Lavender linear
holo with silver glitter
If you are
a regular reader, you know I recently turned my blog posts around so I show the
final mani first and then the base polish(es) at the end of the post. Today I’m
going to turn it around again and show you the base colour first. Why?, you
might ask. Because my final mani didn’t end up pretty at all. I only post it
because this is a web log after all, and I also show my nail fails.
So anyway.
I used two easy coats of Counting Candles for my mani. The polish was easy to
work with and the drying time was good.
Here’s what
two coats and no topcoat look like in the sunshine.
I
absolutely love the rainbows in this one. It’s described as a super holo, which
it definitely is in the sun. It’s not impressive out of the sun though – or at
least it’s not my colour. Here’s two coats in the shade, still no topcoat.
Are you
ready for the nail fail? Okay, here it comes. I added big purple stones to it.
I thought it was going to look pretty but the stones are way too big for my
nails. Here it is:
I didn’t
like it at all so I took it all off right away. I promise I’ll do better
tomorrow so please bear with me.
Number of
coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Linear
holo with glitter
Overall
impression: Okay polish, impressive rainbows in the sun. A bit bland out of the
sun
Buy again: No
