Dusty mauve/brown crème with dark purple undertones

I bought some really cool nail foils from Aliexpress recently and I was eager to try them out. One of the designs I bought was a pattern with silver and purple squares – it’s really pretty.

I decided to pair it with “Dukeberry” from Glisten & Glow. It’s a mauve, almost brown crème, that I thought would suit the purple just perfectly.

The formula of “Dukeberry” is really nice and it’s super easy to work with. I used two easy and fast drying coats for my manicure. I applied a layer of foil glue, waited for it to dry and then I did the trick with the foil. It worked just perfectly!

Here’s “Dukeberry” on its own. It’s two coats and a layer of topcoat.

I got “Dukeberry” in a grab bag. I wouldn’t have picked it myself – it’s a bit too brown for my likings. But I really like it with the foil over!
