Rimmel: Baby Bellini
Purple packed with shimmer

"Baby Bellini" is the last polish of the five polish collection I have already shown you four of. I think the collection came out around 2013 and it was really popular here at the time. The collection was called "Cocktail Colour".

Rimmel claims on the bottle that this is a one coater and that the one coat dries in 60 seconds. I have already found out that there is no way that these are one coaters. I had to apply three coats of "Baby Bellini" to achieve full opacity. The drying time is good, but it takes a couple of minutes more than 60 seconds for it to dry.

I decided to go with a simple floral stamp on this. The flower is from the stamping plate "PY-X008". I stamped with a baby pink stamping polish from El Corazón.

Here's the final result, including a layer of topcoat.

The shimmer is stunningly beautiful.

Here's "Baby Bellini" alone; three coats and no topcoat. It's s a gorgeous colour and finish.

Rimmel: Shirley Temple
Juicy orange with glass flecks

"Shirley Temple" is the fourth polish from the five polish collection I have already shown you some of. I think the collection came out around 2013 and it was really popular here at the time. The collection was called "Cocktail Colour".

Rimmel claims on the bottle that this is a one coater and that the one coat dries in 60 seconds. I have already found out that there is no way that these are one coaters. I ended up with two coats of "Shirley Temple" to achieve full opacity. The drying time is good, but it takes a couple of minutes more than 60 seconds for it to dry.

I think this juicy orange called for a stamp with citrus fruits. I dapped a bit of pastel yellow onto my nails and then I stamped with black. The black was a mistake, I really regret that. I should have stamped with white instead. But done is done, and you live and you learn. The citrus fruit stamp is from the stamping plate "Fruit BP-X45".

Here's the final result, including a layer of topcoat.

I still think that the citrus fruit theme was a great idea, even though the black kind of overpovered it.

There was a time where I never wore orange, because they all seemed to be Autumn-toned. This is so delicious and cool that I had no problems wearing it.
