Rainbow Honey: Kawako
Midnight blue with silver
and blue shimmer and flakes
Today I'm wearing the other Rainbow Honey polish I found in my infamous box of
untrieds recently. I wore "The God Of Destiny" yesterday and wasn't
quite convinced if it was a keeper or not. Today I'm going to decide whether
"Kawako" is a keeper or not.
The formula is okay although the coverage didn't impress me. I needed three
layers for desired opacity which is disappointing for such a relatively dark
colour. The drying time was good though.
I dapped a bit of white and blue glitter by the base of each nail. The glitter
is Gabrini's "C08".
This is the final design, including a layer of topcoat.

The shimmer is quite nice.

Here it is on its own, no topcoat yet.

And here are the two polishes I used today.
"Kawako" is not a keeper for me. It's too dark and the shimmer
doesn't quite "pop" enough for me to love it. Also I'm not a fan of
three coaters.
Number of coats: 3
Drying time: Good
Finish: Shimmer
Overall impression: Sheer formula, not "wow"-material
Buy again: No
I understand why you don't like it, you just don't feel it's your "cup of tea", but I simply adore this kind of polish and this shade! :-)
