Born Pretty Holo
Powder LG-10
The shifty holo goodness comes in a little container
and there’s an applicator in the bag too.
It looks like this:
I don’t do gel nails but I can still use these powders
with a sticky base coat. I use my glitter
base from Dance Legend for that purpose. The texture of that base is a bit
”rubber-y”, which gives a good base for the holo.
One layer of black base and when that was dry, I
started dapping the powder on with the applicator. When the nails were covered
in powder, I started rubbing it into the base, and that is when the magic
happened.
Look how shifty and shiny it is! There’s a layer of
water based topcoat over it; a water based topcoat doesn’t ruin the shifty
effect.
The shift is quite magical!
Let me turn on the flash for you so you get to see the
rainbows as well.
Isn’t that just gorgeous?
The verdict:
Pros:
Great shifty effect
Cheap, a container goes a long way
Wow!-effect
You don’t need to use anything that cures under an
ultraviolet lamp for it to work
Cons:
You do need a sticky base coat for the magic to happen
