Metallic purple

I wanted something special today and what’s more special than movie star nails!?

I applied two layers of Rimmel’s “Punch ‘n’ Judie”, a lovely metallic purple that covers in two easy and fast drying coats. It’s brush stroke-y but I don’t mind because I like the finish a lot.

I applied two coats of OPI’s “Angel with a Leadfoot”; an ordinary white crème polish. I stuck on two water decals over the white. And when that was all dry I applied a layer of Depend’s #335, which is a clear base with silver and holo glitter in various sizes.

This is the final result. 

The lady on my middle finger is Marilyn Monroe. I’m not sure who the lady on my ring finger is, but a qualified (or not?) guess would be Jayne Mansfield.  There is also glitter over the divas.

It’s always fun to make something different like this :D

Finish: Metallic

Overall impression: Nice polish. I like the finish even though there are visible brush strokes.
