Hot pink crelly

I was in the mood to use one of my old, trusted Color Club polishes today so I went through the Helmer drawer to see what caught my eye. I ended up with Warhol from the Poptastic collection. I have had it for almost as long, since Color Club was one of the brands I fell in love with when I started collecting polishes. Orly was the other brand.

The formula is good for a crelly and I made it cover with two easy coats. The drying time is really good. I tried to look back in the blog archives to see when I used it last but I couldn’t find it. I am pretty sure that I did wear it before now but apparently I didn’t blog about it, which is highly unusual!

Anyway, here’s what I did with it. I made four dots on each nail with a bright blue Color Club. I used Pure Energy to make my dots. It’s from Electro Candy Collection from Summer 2009. I bought it last year and I used it last in April 2016 (Click here to be taken to that post if you missed it). I topped it all with my beloved holo flakie topper from El Corazón 421h/25.

I love the look of this!

Here’s Warhol on its own; two coats and no topcoat. It dries up to a semi matte finish, like the neons did at the time.
