Colores de
Carol ~ Discovery
Described as a
bold pink linear holo with flashes of purple-blue iridescent micro glitter
Discovery is from the ”Pure Imagination” collection
and a classic example of how the description doesn’t quite match what I
actually see in real life. To me this is a pink linear holographic. It’s not
bold in my opinion and I don’t see any signs of microglitter no matter how much
I twist and turn my bottle. But never mind, it’s a nice polish nonetheless, it
just puzzles me when this happens.
The formula is good, and a bit sheer on the first
coat. The second coat builds up to full opacity though so no worries there. The
drying time is average.
The stamp I used is from one of my all time favourite
stamping plates: BP-L003. There are so many cool designs on that plate! I
stamped with a polish my boyfriend gave me a long time ago: Max Factor’s
”Burgundy Crush”. It’s a great polish for stamping because it’s so pigmented.
Here’s the final manicure including a layer of
topcoat. The photo is taken with flash.
This s the same thing photographed in ordinary
daylight, no sun.
Here’s Discovery on it’s own; two coats and no
topcoat. I took this picture with flash.
Here are the things I used for my nails today.
I really like to stamp with red over pink; it always
looks so nice!
