Glisten & Glow ~ Diving with Mermaids

Glisten & Glow ~ Diving with Mermaids
Blue holographic with blue flakies and blue shimmer

It’s time for a pretty blue polish to shine on the blog (and on my nails of course). “Diving with Mermaids” is a holographic blue with both blue flakies and blue shimmer in it. This polish shines both when the sun shines on it and when it doesn’t.

The formula is good. The brush is a bit “bent” but not more than it’s workable. I used two coats for full opacity and the drying time was really good.

The stamp is from Lina’s stamping plate “Feeling Shapely! 01” and I stamped with a stamping polish from Born Pretty Store. I don’t know the name of it because it’s not stated on the bottle and I can’t seem to find the name on their website either. Never mind, it’s a great stamping polish, I use it a lot.

This is the end result, including a layer of topcoat. The sun was out when I took this.

I had originally planned to stamp with white but changed my mind last minute. I love this colour combo!

This is “Diving With Mermaids” on its own; two coats and no topcoat. Isn’t it just pretty?

Here are the things I used today.

“Diving With Mermaids” is really pretty. It dries up a little bit bumpy because of all the added extra shimmer and shine. You probably need more than one layer of topcoat if you want your nails to be completely smooth. I don’t mind the bumpiness though.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Linear holo with flakies and shimmer
Overall impression: Pretty colour, I like the added extra bling a lot
Buy again: Yes
