Love Thy Polish ~ Girly Girl

Love Thy Polish ~ Girly Girl
Cherry red jelly with holographic microglitter

This is my first polish from Love Thy Polish from Australia.

The formula is good for a jelly, it’s easy to work with and the drying time is average. It takes three coats to get rid of visible nail line. I almost stopped after the second coat, but I can’t recommend to do that, since the third coat makes a huge difference!

I applied a layer of Ellagee’s topcoat Glass, and here’s how squishy and delicious the polish looks:

I think Girly Girl is the perfect name for this polish!

Is that delicious looking, or what??

Let’s add some dots, shall we? I made a line of silver holo dots down the middle with Urban Outfitters’ Silver Holo, and two lines of smaller purple dots on each side of the silver dots with Golden Rose Matte Velvet #107. I topped it with another layer of Ellagee’s topcoat Glass, and here’s my final mani:

I like the simplicity and the colours of this mani.

This polish is extremely pretty, but I’m not sure it’s really me. I’m sure that this is just perfect if you want to make glitter sandwiches, but that’s not how I roll, if you know what I mean.

So thumbs up for this polish, it’s a good polish, but I’m going to have to say no to buying it again.

Number of coats: 3
Drying time: Average
Finish: Squishy jelly
Overall impression: Really sweet polish, the name suits it perfectly!
Buy again: No

I bought Girly Girl from norwaynails.com.
