Smitten Polish ~ Imporio

Smitten Polish ~ Imporio
deep purple jelly packed with tiny purple holographic glitters

Here’s my last Smitten polish for now, Imporio. The name Imperio is taken from the incantation used to cast the Imperius Curse in the world of Harry Potter. It’s a lovely purple packed with holo particles – it looks sooo pretty in the bottle. And yes, the beauty did transfer onto my nails, just you wait and see.

The formula is great, I didn’t experience any problems with application at all. Two coats is what it takes to make this look its best, and drying time between the coats is really good. In fact, I don’t have anything bad to report about this polish at all. Great, is it not!?

I applied a layer of Poshé topcoat before I took these pictures:

Is that pretty or what?

I love, love, love that holo glitter, it’s right up my alley!

I wasn’t quite sure what to do with this. I wasn’t in the mood for stamping, so I went for three large dots on each nail. I used Nabi Hologram “Flamingo” for the bright pink dots. I sealed my finished mani up with another layer of Poshé topcoat, èt voilá:

I love this!

Here are the sisters:

I did consider to make a smaller purple dot inside the pink dot, but I’m glad I didn’t do it after all. I like the simplicity of this a lot. What do you think of this? Go or no go?
