Glam Polish ~ Beauty School Dropout

Beauty School Dropout is from the Rydell High Collector's Series inspired by the movie Grease.

The formula was a bit on the thin side, but it was still easy to work with. But I must admit that it put me off that it took three coats before it looked good. I was so sure that it was a two coater, but no. Fortunately the drying time between the coats is pretty good.

It’s described as a scattered holo, but I don’t see any holo effect at all. That’s a huge disappointment! The tiny flakies are pretty though.

These pictures are taken with flash. Do you see any sign of holo effect?

Here’s a low light picture. The colour is really nice.

So I stamped on it. I used a dark magenta crème from Coolcos with number 08 as my stamping polish and I found a swirly motif on a Fauxnad plate called H22. I sealed my design up with a layer of Ellagee Glass topcoat after stamping. Here’s my final mani:

I really love this mani and I honestly didn’t want to remove it. I’m still hugely disappointed in the Glam Polish. I hope that the other two Grease-polishes I bought suits me better. The Coolcos works perfectly as a stamping polish, although it stained my stamper hugely.

Finish: They say scattered holo but I don’t see no scattered holo!

Overall impression: The colour is amazing, I really like that.
