Kiko Denims ~ #463, 464 and
465
Swatches
Kiko started shipping to Denmark
recently and that is fantastic! This means I can now get my hand on pretties
that were a bit of a challenge to get earlier on in the piece.
Today I’m going to show you three of the eight polishes from the Denim
collection. I hardly ever buy an entire collection, and I wouldn’t have bought
all eight of these either, but fact is that I was a little bit late, so I
missed #462 Tribal Purple, which I really would love to have had.
Anyway, I’ll start out with #463 Evasion Lawn Green.
Great formula, good coverage and drying time. I used two easy coats for
my swatches.
Here’s what it looks like.
It’s a green that’s really nice on the eyes imo.
I don’t know what this green makes in a denim collection – I don’t think
I’ve ever seen denim or jeans in this colour. It’s a nice shade though and
definitely a keeper.
♥
Next one up is #464 Essential Sky Blue.
It’s got the same good formula as its sister, I’ve got no problems to
report at all.
Take a look at how pretty she is.
Now we’re approaching denim blue :D
I like Essential Sky Blue too – it’s such a nice basic blue that can be
used under a lot of different nail art.
♥
Last one is #465 British Jeans.
This is what I’d call “real” denim blue, and I like it.
It dries up a fraction darker than it looks in the bottle.
I don’t know how much I’m going to use this polish, so it might have to
be moved on down the line – I haven’t quite decided yet.
Bonus pictures!!
I took a striper and made stripes with the three colours, and I ended up
with this design.
There is a layer of topcoat to protect the design and to make the
polishes become a unit.

Overall impression:
Kiko make some really great collections. The quality of the Denim collection live up to my high expectations: Kiko make great polishes, no doubt about that! It’s a shame that many of their collections live a relatively short life on the shelves in the shops, so you have to be fast to get what you want.

The two blues are stunning! The green is okay but not as nice as both blues! I do like the finish on these polishes :-)
ReplyDeleteThey look good together as well :-)
Thank you, it's nice to hear that you like them too :)
DeleteI really like them together as well :)
I like them all, even the green because it's so cold green...
ReplyDeleteI really, really like the nail art using them all <3
Thank you <3 I was really pleased with how the nail art turned out :)
DeleteKiko polishes are very good for the price and lots of colours to choose from. Very cute the manicure. My favourite is the first shade.
ReplyDeleteI'm really happy with all my Kiko's, because they're almost always great value for money :)
DeleteGreen is one of my favorite colors, so Evasion Lawn Green is my absolute favorite, but your bonus pictures wowed me and has stolen the spotlight from the beautiful green polish. You made an eye catching design and the color combination is perfect!
ReplyDeleteAww, thank you SO much, that really made my day! I can't believe my nail art stole the spotlight from the green! Wow!!
DeleteI love them all! Nice swatches! :)
ReplyDeleteMy pick would be British Jeans. I like this nail art :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I like it simple :)
DeleteI love all 3 colors. I agree with you though - not sure why there is green in a denim collection. I really like the striped design you did with all 3 :)
ReplyDeleteThank you - I did like the idea of using all three of them together like this :)
