Glam Polish ~ Sandy & Look at me, I’m Sandra Dee

A turquoise jelly scattered holo base with tiny flakies

A bright purple scattered holo with tiny shimmery flakies

The colour descriptions are not my own, they come from Glam Polish themselves.

Both polishes are from the Rydell High Collector's Series inspired by the movie Grease.

The formula is a bit thin and the coverage isn’t the greatest. Three coats is what it took to get rid of most of the nail line. Drying time between the coats is really good, which is a plus.

Yes, the colours are really nice. I’m still looking for a promised holo effect though. Apparently it’s invisible :/

I stamped on it. I found a dot motif on Bundlemonster’s plate BM-412 and stamped with a no name black stamping polish.

Here’s my final mani:

There’s something wrong with my stamping plate – the design is good but the etching is too shallow to work properly. The definition at the edges is not sharp enough so the dots are not completed when the stamp is applied. I have already complained over the set of 25 plates, since 14 of them had that problem. Bundlemonster replaced the 14 faulty plates, but as you can see, the problem obviously isn’t quite fixed. Oh well. Shit does indeed hap…

I have to say that it’s been a while since I have been so disappointed with a series of polishes. The three I bought was definitely not worth the hype in my opinion.

Drying time: Relatively fast

Finish: They say scattered holo but I don’t see no scattered holo!

Overall impression: The colours are both great and I love the flakies
