Born Pretty Holo Powder LG-06

Born Pretty Holo Powder LG-06

This shifting holo goodness comes in a little container and there’s an applicator in the bag too.

It looks like this:

As always when I do these kinds of powders I use my glitter base from Dance Legend. The texture of that base is a bit ”rubber-y”, which gives a good base for the powder.

I use only one layer of black base and when that is dry, I start dapping the powder on with the applicator. When the nails were covered in powder, I started rubbing it into the base, and that is when all the magic happens.

It’s ridiculously shiny and really shifts too. There’s a layer of water based topcoat over it; a water based topcoat doesn’t ruin the shifty effect.

These pictures are taken in ordinary daylight, no sun. The shift is really something!!

You can see the green when I turn the flash on.

It’s a really pretty powder.

The verdict:

Pros:
Great shifty effect
Cheap, a container goes a long way
Wow!-effect
You don’t need to use anything that cures under an ultraviolet lamp for it to work

Cons:
You do need a sticky base coat for the magic to happen
