Color Club ~ Tougher
Than Nails
Mint green
linear holo with a metal finish
“Tougher Than Nails” is a part of Color Club’s new
“Halo Chrome”-collection. It’s a collection of six polishes, of which I bought
five. I’m going to show you all five of them over the next days, and I’m going
to link to them all by the end of each post as I publish them.
The formula is good, although “Tougher Than Nails”
isn’t a one coater like lots of the other polishes in Color Club’s “Halo
Hues”-collections were. I used two easy coats for full opacity and the drying
time is really good.
I attached a floral sticker onto each nail and topped
it all with topcoat.
Here’s “Tougher Than Nails” in the sunshine. Two coats
+ topcoat.
This is the same thing in the lightbox. The finish is
metallic/chrome and very shiny.
Here’s “Tougher Than Nails” alone; two coats and no
topcoat in the sunshine. I really like this in the sun.
I like this polish, especially the rainbow effect and
the formula. I am not sure I’m the greatest fan of it in the shade, but perhaps
it’ll grow on me.
Here are the links to the other polishes in the
collection. The links will show up as I publish the posts.
