Gabriella Salvete ~ Galaxy 06

Gabriella Salvete ~ Galaxy 06
Cobalt blue with white glitter

Gabriella Salvete is an Italian brand, and I bought a bunch of them when I was on a short trip to sunny Slovakia, princess of central eastern Europe. I like trying new, cool brands.

The first one up is from the Sugar collection, and I wasn’t quite sure if it was a textured polish or not. It turned out that it isn’t. The formula is good and the polish applies easily. It takes two coats to make it opaque and the drying time between the coats is pretty average.

I applied a layer of topcoat, and here’s what it ended up looking like on my nails:

I think there were a couple of more sugars in the rack, but none of the colours appealed to me, so this is the only sweetie I brought home.

I really like the effect.

I didn’t do anything with it, because I think it’s so cool on its own.

Like I said: This is my first experience with Gabriella Salvete, and I’m already looking forward to trying the other ones I bought. Stay tuned for that experience :)

Have you heard of Gabriella Salvete, or is the brand also new to you?

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Average
Durability: Good
Finish: White glitter in coloured jelly. It dries flat.
Overall impression: It seems like a very good quality polish!

  2. GS is one of the most popular drugstore brands here (I'm from Czech, Slovakia's neighbour :D), they have really good nail polishes, great quality for a great price and there are often many special offers, so it's a great deal then. They have some lovely "normal' polishes, amazing sand polishes, from these Sugar collection there are some pretty pieces too, but I think not everybody likes it (for me, I've been interested in two shades only, this blue and the dark berry one, the others I didn't really like, it seems to me that the effect doesn't show up that well with light shades...) and now they have new collection of holo glitter polishes... and I'm in love again, wanting them all :D :D Really, GS is one of the best brands you can find in Czech or Slovakian drugstores, at least when it comes to nail polishes, so good choice! :))

    1. I was actually also on holidays in Czech but didn't see GS there unfortunately. I actually saw the berry coloured Sugar one as a swatch and definitely would have bought it if they had had it, but no luck. But never mind - I got a bunch of polishes from GS and am happy with them.
I would love to see the glitters and would definitely buy some of them if they're pretty :)

    2. Aw, such a pity they didn't have it, I'm really surprised that you didn't see it in Czech, because GS is almost everywhere here, sometimes even in supermarkets :D The only drugstore that doesn't have GS in every store is DM drugstore, GS is sold only in some of these... so maybe that's why^^ Anyway it's great that you got more polishes, I think they won't fail you! And those glitters, they were released just now, not everybody likes them as I've read, mainly because glitters are much harder to take off :D but I looove everything glittery, plus those little holo particles.... Can't help myself. Now they are up to release some other new products, so I'm hoping another set of nail polishes is coming on as well!! :D

    3. I will remember to look for them next time I go to Czech, because I'll definitely go back. I really liked it there - I kinda felt at home, and that's such a nice feeling.
And I'm like you: I love glittery things! The more glittery the better.

  3. The glitters are really spectacular and it's a really beautiful polish...
I never heard of that brand before - and I see why you thought it would be a texture with that name LOL
