LynBDesigns ~ Nightmare revisited

LynBDesigns ~ Nightmare revisited
Fuchsia linear holo

Nightmare revisited is from the Nightmare Begins collection, and is inspired by The Nightmare before Christmas. I’m also a fan of that movie and I’m definitely a fan of fuchsia holos, so I thought I’d give this polish a go. And it’s pronounced ”Fyoo-shya”, not how it looks phonetically. Who knew? ;) It won’t be quite so much fun asking for this colour over the counter, from now on.

The formula is a jelly, which isn’t my favourite formula, so I prepared myself for layer after layer. After layer. After layer. But - I was positively surprised! The polish is so easy to work with and it covers in two coats. The drying time between the coats is fast too: Triple score!!

And the sun was out too – how lucky can a girl be!

Here’s two coats, no topcoat, picture taken in sunshine:

Aren’t those rainbows just beautiful? I should think so!!

Perhaps blinding is a better word for it? :D

Here’s a low light picture, just to show you that this polish also works out of the sun. The colour changes into raspberry, which I like!

I made some stripes on it with a purple and a black striper. I topped it all with topcoat before taking these pictures.

And here are the polishes. The stripers are from Moyra, bought in Hungary, and Claire’s, bought in Germany. The LynBDesigns is bought on Etsy :D

I love being surprised positively like I was today. Nightmare Revisited ain’t going nowhere out of my reach, that’s for sure!

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Fast
Durability: Good
Finish: Linear holo, works in lower lights too
Overall impression: Great polish! I love the colour and the rainbows, and I even like the formula even though it’s a jelly :)
Buy again: Yes

  5. This is beautiful! I love how you can see the holo, even in low light. And a jelly formula that's good in two coats - sounds perfect! :)
