Smitten Polish ~ Radiant Orchid

Smitten Polish ~ Radiant Orchid
a bright purple-leaning fuchsia linear holographic

It’s time for another pretty Smitten Polish, namely Radiant Orchid.

The formula is good and easy to apply and it takes two coats to make it look its best. The drying time between the coats is fast.

I was so lucky to have sunshine available, hurra! Here’s two easy coats, no topcoat:

Isn’t that just a gorgeous colour and some fantastic rainbows?

Here’s a lightbox picture. I like the way the polish looks both in the sun and in lower lights.

I make two stripes diagonally across on each nail. I just used a blue striper from Kiss Nail Art called “Pearl Blue”. Here’s my final mani in the sunshine:

And here’s a lightbox picture:

I like pretty much everything about this polish, except for one thing, and that’s how fast the level of polish goes down. Take a look at this bottle picture. It’s Radiant Orchid on the left and Claddagh, that I showed you yesterday on the right.

These two polishes are both used for one full mani on ten fingernails. I used two coats of both and the formula seemed the same. So it makes me wonder: How come the fill line of the Radiant Orchid went down so much, after only one mani? I don’t get it!

But anyway – it’s a cool polish nonetheless.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Linear holo
Overall impression: Great formula, great colour, great rainbows!
Buy again: Yes

  1. Wow, this is a beauty! That is really odd about the usage though, especially since you've only used it once.

    1. I don't like that the pretty polishes go down so much after only one application - I want them to look like new all the time :D

  6. love the linear holo on this one! I know what you mean about some polishes just seeming to disappear way faster than others... I feel like that with my bottle of Hare Twilight Savings :(

    1. It seems to be the pretty ones that go down a lot - annoying! I won't buy a backup of this one though, however pretty it is :)
