Glam Polish ~ Coven

Red jelly base with red glitter and a very subtle scattered holo effect

Coven is from the Cast a Spell collection. There are five polishes in that collection, and I bought two of them. Coven is the type of polish I often fall for. I love a good red and it’s even better if it’s got glitter in it!

Application was easy and effortlessly, and two coats is what it takes to make this baby shine. Drying time is average, and the glitter dries up a teeny bit bumpy. I applied a layer of Poshé topcoat before I took these pictures:

 

Look at this prettiness!

If you’ve read this post you’ll know that I’ve been having issues with my latest Bundlemonster plates. The first two sets I received didn’t work, so it was a joy to establish that the third set actually works! Yay! And yes, I’ve tested all of them!

I was looking forward to trying this plate, BM-426:

I stamped with a no name black stamping polish and sealed my mani with another layer of Poshé topcoat. Here’s the result – with a rare glimpse of my thumb:

Later that same day I got to see the sun, well hello!! So here’s a sunshine picture taken in a lunch restaurant, haha!

Finish: A little bit of a struggle but nothing a glitter fan can’t cope with

Overall impression: Polishes like this is kryptonite for me. Red, glitter, holo. Yes, just yes!
