CrowsToes ~ Hot Headed Red

Described by the maker as “a glowy medium red base that transitions from a magenta, to a red orange, ending in a slightly orange gold, topped off with a delicate veil of holographic sparks on top.”

Hot Headed Red is a HHC Facebook group custom that was released in March 2016.

The formula is great and so is the coverage. I used two easy coats for full coverage and the drying time was really good.

This is two coats and no topcoat taken with flash. The flash makes the polish show its magenta side.

 

This photo is taken in my lightbox and shows the lovely shift. The holo sparks also show themselves outside the flashlight.

I made black stripes on it and added a pretty and blingy spider stud. This photo includes a layer of topcoat.

Here’s another photo that shows the shift. I love the colours this polish has got.

Hot Headed Red was limited edition and is no longer available. It’s a shame in my opinion because it’s really pretty.
