Floss Gloss ~ Faded
Dark blueish
grey crème
There’s one thing I love about swapping and that is
that I get to try brands that I never would have got my hands on myself. I have
never even heard about Floss Gloss before, but my sweet friend in the states sent
me a bunch of them recently. I was eager to try them on.
I tried Faded first; A deep grey with a hint of blue
in it. The formula is really good and the polish is easy to apply. It took two
coats for full opacity and the drying time is good. Faded dries up super shiny!
This is two coats and no topcoat:
I thought this was perfect for a stamp so I chose a
motif from Chez Delaney’s stamping plate “Water Marble”. It’s a plate full of
water marble-y designs, I love that plate! I stamped with Color Club’s “Angel
Kiss”. All the holo polishes from the
Halo Hues collections just stamp beautifully!
This is my final mani including a layer of topcoat:
Here are the polishes I used:
This turned out really great. I’m looking forward to
trying the other Floss Gloss polishes. Are you familiar with the brand?
