Dark Blond ~ Black
Plum – in a water marble mani
Dark plum
crème
I bought a couple of Dark Blond polishes last time I
visited my local polish pusher. I bought them to water marble with them; a plum
and a bright blue. Unfortunately the blue turned out to be really gloopy and
weird and unusable for the moment. Right now it sits with a layer of polish
thinner on top – and I hope to be able to restore it back to life.
That meant that I had to find myself another polish
that would work with this dark purple polish. I picked Color Club’s Bell Bottom
Babe, which is a lovely periwinkle shimmer.
Let me show you how it all turned out.
There’s also a layer of Out the Door’s Northern Lights
holo topcoat over it all.
Here are the four polishes I used:
Dark Blond: Black plum; Color Club: Bell Bottom Babe;
China Glaze: White on White; Out the Door: Northern Lights |
It was the China Glaze that made it all work; that
polish spreads out beautifully on the water. The Dark Blond wasn’t as happy but
the Color Club helped it a bit.
I still love the result of water marbling, even though
it seems that it has kind of got out of “fashion”. How about you, do you also
still like the effect or is it SO last year? :D
i like this water mable!!=)
