Don Deeva: Kamanawanalea - faded

Don Deeva: Kamanawanalea - faded
Originally vivid pink microglitter - now faded into a more coral toned pink

"Kamanawanalea" is one third of The Don Deeva Hawaiian Vacation "Kamanawanalea" Trio from the HHC Facebook group in August 2016. It was originally an amazingly beautiful hot pink, almost magenta, microglitter. At this point it has faded into a coral pink. It's still pretty, but I really wish I had worn this before it faded.

The base of "Kamanawanalea" is tinted pink so this polish covers in two easy coats. The drying time is good.

The stars are from the stamping plate "SA-20". I stamped with a regular white stamping polish from El Corazón.

This is the final result, including topcoat. This first photo is taken in daylight, no sun.

The sun came out, yay! So this photo is taken in sunlight. I love the holographic glitter.

This is "Kamanawanalea" alone, two coats and a layer of topcoat. I took this photo in daylight.

Here are the two polishes and the stamping plate I used today.

Here are links to the two other polishes in the trio:

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Microglitter in a tinted base
Overall impression: Really nice formula and effect. It's a shame that it faded
Buy again: No, only in the original colour

    1. I kind of like it too, but I really wish it hadn't faded :/

  2. Fading is so frustrating. I was going through some blue polishes earlier to paint a wheel and found three super faders. :(

    1. It is super disappointing when it happens, and especially if you didn't even get to wear them in their original colour scheme.
