Glittering Elements ~ Queen of Hearts

Glittering Elements ~ Queen of Hearts
Deep bright pink holographic

Queen of Hearts is from the Alice in Hololand-collection, which is a trio. I showed you Don’t Pet the Cheshire!! and Meet Alice ♥ yesterday, and today is the day I’m going to show you the last (and the prettiest) of the bunch.

The formula is great and so is the coverage. The polish is practically opaque after the first coat! I applied a second coat anyway, just to make sure that my hawk eye camera would see irregularities unseen to the human eye! The drying time between the coats is fast!

I was home a bit late, but the sun was still shining – so my pictures are taken in the evening sun.

Two coats, no topcoat:

I must admit that I would have expected the Queen of Hearts to be more red than pink, but it’s a lovely, lovely colour, so you hear no complaints from me!

Mmmmm… ♥

I chose two different stamping motif, both from the Moyou London stamping plate Princess Collection-14. I stamped with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri “Whirlwind White”, which is my to go white polish for stamping.

I photographed my final mani before I added topcoat. Here it is in the last ray of sun:

And here’s a lightbox picture, just to show that this polish is so pretty in low lights too!

Verdict:
This is the prettiest of the trio for sure, I love the colour, the effect, but also the formula and the drying time is worth mentioning!

Number of coats: 2

  5. It's a nice shade but I would maybe expect the holo to be a bit stronger? I do like the stamping! :-)

  6. That's a very pretty color, and I particularly like it with the stamping on top! The white against pink is a great combination. :)

  7. This is gorgeous! Again, I am loving the theme. This particular name makes me think of one of the villains on my favorite show, Once Upon A Time.
