Colors by Llarowe ~ Sweet Beginnings (reformulated)

Colors by Llarowe ~ Sweet Beginnings (reformulated)
Dark raspberry red linear holo

I have already showed you Sweet  Beginnings back in June 2016. You can see the original post by clicking this link if you need to have your memory refreshed.

The polish is gorgeous, but Llarowe decided to reformulate it because the polish separated quite a lot. It could be shaken together again, but it only took like 10 minutes for it to separate again. So the buyers were sent a reformulated replacement through the stockist it was originally bought from. Smooth and nice customer service, I appreciate that.

This version of Sweet Beginnings doesn’t separate that easily.

The formula is good and I used two easy coats of it for my mani, just like I did with the original polish. The drying time was really good.

The rainbows aren’t as strong in this new version though. Take a look at two coats and no topcoat taken with flash.

It’s a lovely colour and the rainbows are sweet, but why aren’t they as strong?

I sponged some glitter on the tips. It’s a glitter I bought in a gift shop in Germany, I can’t remember the name of the shop. It’s a mix of silver, red and black glitter and shreds in a clear base, and the polish has got number 834.

Here is my final mani including a layer of topcoat.

This is a low light picture so you can see all the different shapes of the glitter.

Here are the two polishes together.

I originally intended to get rid of the original bottle of Sweet Beginnings, but honestly, now that I see that it’s actually looking way better in the rainbow department, it’s definitely not going anywhere.

I forgot to mention that Sweet Beginnings was the polish of the month in April 2016, and it was limited edition and no longer available.

Number of coats: 2
